Holiday Spirit

Elves are rushing around,

The day is finally here!

Reindeer happily prance and bound,

Everyone is filled with ineffable holiday cheer.

Toys are carefully placed,

The sleigh in perfect condition.

Santa’s route is traced,

Reindeer patiently await their mission.

Now is the time for which they’ve all waited,

What they’ve spent all year working for.

The time to see the joy they’ve created,

And to show what they have in store.

Oh, Christmas, bring us your bountiful cheer,

Oh, Christmas, give us joy til the new year.
