Autumn Breeze

By: Megan Pederson, Poetry Editor

Pumpkin spice lattes in hand, walking around the town.

Leaves coat the ground, in a wide array of colors,

Burgundy, burnt orange, yellows, and browns.

The lively, luscious, green summer is gone,

Now ready for a long winter.

A rainbow fills the sky, a beautiful sight to see,

Left over from last night's rainfall.

A soft breeze surges through the trees,

Winter is almost here.
