Same Tune, Different Sound

There is something so comforting about an out-of-tune piano 

It’s notes

Though not how they were meant to be 

Can still make beautiful music

They can still play a song

Tell a story

In a way, it’s changed the meaning 

This new tune

It brings light from a different angle

Allowing a perspective you would have never considered

An out-of-tune piano is a lot like life

It may not be what everyone likes

Or thinks is right

But beauty can still be found in it 

And amazing things can come

You just have to give it a chance

Let it try

Allow it to play one last song

Before change takes hold again…
